The Charity has produced a new a Data Protection Policy to reflect the changes brought about by General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).
Data privacy (or data protection) law gives people the right to control how their ‘personal data’ is used (any information that relates to them, such as name, contact details, allegations of criminal activity, preferences etc.) It also places obligations on the Charity on how we use personal data.
Action has been taken to make all residents aware of thier rights under the regulations and how to access their information. The Charity has also reviewed how it stores and maitains information.
